Air Valve
Automatic exhaust: Automatically identifies and exhausts air from high points in the pipes during system filling or operation.
Prevent gas blockage: Eliminate gas blockage to ensure smooth flow of fluid (usually water) and improve system efficiency (such as heating efficiency, water pump efficiency).
Prevent cavitation and noise: Reduce the risk of pump cavitation and pipe flow noise caused by the presence of gas.
Protects the system: Prevents pipe corrosion caused by air accumulation (oxygen corrosion) and pressure surges.
The valve is usually designed with two separate vents or exhaust mechanisms:
1. Large-aperture exhaust port (large-volume exhaust): used for rapid and large-volume exhaust when the system is initially filled with water or when a large amount of gas is accumulated.
2. Small-aperture exhaust port (trace exhaust): used to continuously and slowly remove trace dissolved gases that are constantly precipitated from the water during normal system operation. At this time, the float (or float bucket) is in the middle or a specific position, and the small exhaust port remains open or is opened intermittently.
This dual exhaust port design is the most significant feature and advantage of the double-head exhaust valve, which enables it to cope with the situation where a large amount of gas accumulates quickly, and can also effectively handle the continuously generated trace gases, ensuring that the system is always in the best exhaust state.
1. Efficient and thorough exhaust: The "double-head" design takes into account both rapid and large-volume exhaust and continuous and small-volume exhaust, and the exhaust effect is far better than that of a single-port exhaust valve.
2. High degree of automation: It works automatically based on the physical state changes of fluids and gases in the system without the need for external power or human intervention.
3. Maintain system efficiency: effectively prevent gas blockage, ensure smooth fluid circulation, and improve heat exchange efficiency and water pump efficiency.
4. Extend equipment life: reduce cavitation damage to water pumps and reduce the risk of oxygen corrosion.
5. Reduce noise and vibration: Eliminate abnormal water flow sound and pipeline vibration caused by gas.
6. Optional suction function: protect the pipeline from damage by negative pressure.
