Air Valve
Efficient exhaust: quickly remove air from the pipe to improve system operation efficiency.
Pressure and temperature resistance: usually suitable for working pressure ≤1.6MPa, temperature range -10℃~120℃ (depending on the sealing material).
Reliable sealing: double sealing design (float + thread seal) to prevent liquid leakage.
Corrosion resistance: The surface of the cast iron valve body can be treated with anti-corrosion treatment (such as painting, galvanizing) to extend its service life.
Compact and light: simple structure and small size, suitable for installation environments with limited space.
Valve body: Made of cast iron (such as gray cast iron HT200 or ductile iron), it has high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and is suitable for general liquid or gas media.
Internal seal: usually made of rubber (such as NBR or EPDM) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to ensure sealing performance.
Connection
Threaded connection: connected to the pipe through internal or external threads, suitable for small-diameter pipes (such as DN15-DN50), easy to install, no welding or flanges required.
2. Working Principle
Automatic exhaust: When gas gathers in the pipeline, the gas pressure pushes the float or float bucket in the valve down, opening the exhaust port to exhaust the gas; after the gas is exhausted, liquid enters the valve body, the float rises and closes the valve to prevent liquid leakage.
Manual exhaust: Some models are designed with a manual exhaust knob, which can be manually operated to exhaust residual gas.
